Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is now an entrance examination for numerous central institutions in India's undergraduate, graduate, and research programs. The Central University of Rajasthan formerly administered it. However, starting in 2021, Its management was taken up by the National Testing Agency. Exam Pattern for CUCET-2025

  • The test is broken into three sections: Sections IA and IB, Section II, and Section III.
  • Sections IA and IB (Languages) will assess comprehension skills using a variety of readings, including literary, storytelling, and informational excerpts. It will also test the student's technical ability and vocabulary.
  • Domain-Specific Section II The subject will comprise questions that are multiple-choice based on the 12th-grade curriculum. This part has 27 categories, that are chosen depending on the student's interests.
  • Section III - Basic Test will include specific questions on general knowledge, news affairs, thinking ability, abstract reasoning, quantitative reasoning, simple application of basic mathematical lessons covered up to grade 8, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and statistics, logical and analytical reasoning.
  • Candidates can select one language from 13 options in Section IA, and 20 languages in Section IB.

Who can take the CUCET-2025?

In order to take the CUCET 2025, candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria, including qualifying exam, marks, age limit, nationality, etc.

It is worth a mention that the eligibility criteria for UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses are different from one another.

Education:- Candidates must pass their 12th or equivalent examination to be on the eligibility list for CUET 2025 examination.

Reservations:- Eligible applicants for a reservation should check the website of the respective universities under CUCET 2025

Reservation in CUET 2025 Exam:- At all levels of the exam, the reservation will be given to candidates depending on various norms laid out by CUET officials. The CUET exam will follow the rules set by the Government of India regarding the reservation.

Candidates who wish to be admitted to CUET will have to submit a set of required documents on a mandatory basis, such as a caste certificate, PwD certificate, income certificate, etc

How to take the CUCET-2025?

  • The CUCET (CUET) application process will commence during the first week of April 2025, with the application deadline in the first week of May 2025.
  • The initial application may be completed online, and candidates will be alerted about the registration form by email and text message.
  • The registration cost is non-refundable and must be paid online (through debit/credit card or net banking). The fee classification has been separated into many groups, which are as follows:

General/Unreserved - Rs. 650/- for locations inside India and Rs. 3000/- for centers outside of India

General-EWS/OBC-NCL - Rs. 600/- SC/ ST/ PwBD/ 3rd Gender - Rs. 550/- for centers inside India and Rs. 3000/- for centers outside of India
