Selection for BSc agriculture course in various universities of Andhra Pradesh is based on merit or marks scored by students in AP EAPCET-2025 (Andhra Pradesh, Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). The admission process to BSc agriculture in Andhra Pradesh generally begins in February 2025. Admission to the BSc agricultural course in Andhra Pradesh is based on the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Entrance Test 2025.
Candidates seeking admission in the BSc agriculture course in Andhra Pradesh university/college through AP EAPCET-2025 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
All admissions to BSc agriculture in Andhra Pradesh are made through AP EAPCET 2025. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JNTUA (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur) on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) for admissions to various engineering, agricultural, pharmacy courses offered at more than 425 private and government institutions located at five districts across Andhra Pradesh namely, Anantapur, Kurnool, SPSR Nellore, Chittoor and YSR Kadapa.
Following is a tentative official schedule of the AP EAPCET-2025 agriculture entrance exam
AP EAPCET 2025 syllabus is based on topics from the 10+2 science stream (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics) syllabus prepared by the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, authorities have reduced syllabus/topics to 30% of 1st and 2nd-year syllabi. This revised, simplified syllabus applies to current and prior year intermediate course students who desire to take the AP EAPCET -2025.

AP EAPCET 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions every day from 11th July 2025 to 12th July 2025 between 9.00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exam duration will be three hours (180 minutes), and the exam mode will be online (computer-based) only.
The question paper will consist of 160 multiple objective types (MCQ) questions, each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking for the answers that are not attempted or are wrong. The subject-wise and mark-wise break-up of the questions paper is as given below:
AP EAPCET 2025 results will be announced a few days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates can download their results from the official site https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, and the candidates who clear the exam will be called for a counselling session
The counselling for BSc agriculture admission in various colleges of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by APSCHE online. The AP EAPCET-2025 counselling session comprises various stages like payment of processing fee, checking verification status, registration of the candidate, option entry, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted college.
